Applications List View

The Applications (Apps) List view provides information on the available BenchVue applications and enables you to purchase licenses for the desired applications. Keysight's flexible licensing options allow you to select the license type and license terms that best fit your software needs. Use the Filters pane, located on the left side of the Applications view, to filter which applications are displayed in the Applications List. Click the "Clear All Filters" button to remove all filters and show all available applications.

Bench Applications

To evaluate a BenchVue application for a free 7-day trial, click once on the desired application and then click the "Start Trial" button – the trial period represents the number of calendar days remaining. After the trial period expires, you can apply for a free 30-day license, after which you will be required to purchase a software license for that application. As shown below, the labeling on each icon varies according to the current licensing status of the application.

Note: A license is not required if a Basic Version of BenchVue application is installed.

	License Type: Fixed-Node Locked or Transportable License Term: Perpetual Software use has no time limit and license does not expire. A perpetual license also includes a one (1) year support subscription for free software updates and support for the first year, after which the support can be renewed annually for a fee. The number of days remaining in the subscription period is shown (this represents the number of calendar days remaining). Click on "Details" for more information on the status of your license.

Note: The time-bound aspects of the perpetual license (license does not expire) and the subscription-based license (license expires after limited time) start at the time you add the software license to your Keysight Software Manager profile. For more information, see BenchVue Licensing Options.

BenchVue Test Flow Application

The BenchVue Test Flow application is enabled with each licensed BenchVue instrument application – a separate license is not required for Test Flow functionality.
